Lincoln, Neb. — Team Kaos’ Marie Neville captured her fifth consecutive women’s state cyclo-cross title Nov. 19 at the Nebraska Cyclo-Cross State Championship at Pioneers Park.
Neville finished behind Stacy Holmen of Trek Store KC and ahead of Team Kaos teammate Theresa Blume in a race run during a cold, bone-chilling rain.
As the highest-placed licensed rider from Nebraska, Neville added to cyclo-cross crowns she won in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. The Lincolnite is also a three-time state road race and criterium champion (2001, 2002 and 2003). |

Oct. 22 — Team Kaos’ Tommie Ralston and Tim Farnham each rode to second-place finishes Saturday at the season-opening race of the 2005 Nebraska Cyclo-cross Series.
Early afternoon showers on the cold, gray-skied day made conditions treacherous on the one-mile course at Standing Bear Lake in northwest Omaha. Ralston finished second behind Troy Krause of LBC/Highgear in the Men’s B race, while Farnham was runner-up to Team X’s Harold Parker in the single speed category.

Sept. 30 – Team Kaos’ 2005 season of road racing will go down as the team’s most successful since its inception in 1991. With 42 victories, 14 state champions, five top 20 finishes at the USA Cycling Championships and more than 100 top five finishes, Team Kaos proved once again that it is one of the finest bicycle racing organizations in the Midwest. But winning races is only a small part of our commitment to our sponsors. Every member of Team Kaos is an ambassador to the sport of bicycling and bicycle racing. So sharing our knowledge and expertise of cycling as a healthy lifestyle is integral to our success. In the last nine months, we conducted bicycle safety seminars at elementary schools and businesses, participated in health fairs, led weekly bicycle training rides and acted as expert spokespeople for local media outlets. |
