New wins mark highlights 2007 season
Just a year ago, Team Kaos reached its high-water mark with 48 victories for the 2006 campaign.
A year later, Kaos flooded the road with 63 wins in a dominant season
that ended with 12 state championships across three events – time
trial, road race and criterium.

Bike Masters Spring Century Is Sunday |

The Bike Masters Cycling and Fitness Spring Bike Masters Road Century is Sunday, April 1.
This 100-mile ride, put on by Team Kaos' official bicycle shop sponsor, circumnavigates the Omaha Metropolitan area. Convenience store opportunities and shortcuts are put in along the route to assist riders who do not want to ride the entire loop.
Traditionally, the ride breaks up into several groups, giving riders an opportunity to go at their own pace. For more information, call Bike Masters at 964-1080.

Team Kaos Officer Hired By Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team |

Omaha, Neb. - Sean Weide, public relations officer for Team Kaos, is the new director of communications for the Toyota-United Pro Cycling Team.
The Omaha native has been handling media relations and website writing for Team Kaos since 2003. He is a former racer who is also a Category A USA Cycling official.
Weide will handle media relations for the top domestic pro team in the United States, in addition to traveling with the squad to major races across the country. At the Amgen Tour of California, Toyota-United was the only domestic team to win a stage.
A freelance sports writer for more than 20 years, Weide's experience includes public relations work in professional basketball, higher education and more than six years in television news producing.
Weide is also the coordinator of race officials for the Nebraska Cycling Association.

Team Kaos Welcomes Two New Sponsors For 2007 |

Team Kaos, the top bicycle racing team in Nebraska and one of the leading amateur teams in the Midwest, will proudly represent two new sponsors in 2007, in addition to renewing sponsorships with 14 other companies.
The new companies which will be featured on the Team Kaos uniforms are Hed Cycling and Kalas Sportswear, manufacturer of the team’s uniforms.
Title sponsors, the Nebraska Medical Center, the University of Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC Physicians return for a seventh year. Other renewing sponsors are A to Z Printing, American Classic, Bike Masters, Brasch Homes, Dave's Decks, GU Sports, JSP Web Design, Shimano, Uvex and WTB.

Few cyclists outside of Nebraska knew who Jarred Berger was before the 2005 season.
That all changed when the former University of Nebraska-Lincoln wrestler scored a 13th place finish at the inaugural Tour of Puerto Rico, including a fifth-place finish on the decisive mountain stage.
It was those results that helped catapult him into the role of protected leader in nearly every race Team Kaos participated in during 2006, as well as opened doors to participate in several National Race Calendar events.
