Team Kaos Helps At UNMC Bike Expo |

Members of Team Kaos offered their expertise at the second annual Bike Expo for employees at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Nebraska Medical Center May 4.
Assisted by Bike Masters staff members, Team Kaos members helped employees fitting their helmets, performed routine bike maintenance and offered tips on clothing, equipment and safe places to ride.
The Nebraska Medical Center, University of Nebraska Medical Center and University Medical Associates are primary sponsors of Team Kaos. They also sponsor the annual Dave Babcook Memorial Race Weekend.

Members of Team Kaos helped Nebraska Medical Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center employees get their bikes in mechanical shape, as well as offered tips n fitness and nutrition at the Bike Expo May 4.
Employees had the opportunity to talk with representatives of Team Kaos and Bike Masters, as well as see some of the newest cycling technology. They also learned about selecting and fitting a bike, as well as convenient and safe places to ride in the Metro.

Wichita, Kan. -- Team Kaos' Tim Farnham raced to a second and a third place finish in a pair of weekend races in Wichita, Kan.

Farnham finished second in the 24-mile Wichita Cyclefest Circuit Race Saturday, then finished third in Sunday's Scholfield Cycling Classic criterium in downtown Wichita.
Kaos teammate Steven Muhle finished second in the Masters 35+ 21-mile race on Saturday and was sixth in Sunday's criterium in the same category. |

Brasch, Chaffin Win First Ak-Sar-Ben Time Trial |

Gretna, Neb. -- Team Kaos' Jordan Brasch and Morgan Chaffin captured the Masters 40+ and Women's categories, respectively, at the first Ak-Sar-Ben time trial Saturday near Gretna.
Brasch scored a 25-second victory over Ciao Baby's Mike Melton, clocking 50 minutes and 40 seconds for the 20.32-mile course. Initial results showed Melton had defeated Brasch, but a mistake in the time calculation was spotted and the results adjusted during the 15-minute protest period. Brasch covered the course in 50:40 to Melton's 51:05. Team Kaos' Mark Brackenbury was third in 51:11. |
