GENERAL RACE RULES & INFORMATION

Permit #2007-1722
All 2007 USCF rules are in effect.
Events will be held rain or shine.
Helmets must be worn at all times while on the bike.
Valid and current USCF license must be presented check-in.
Promoter reserves the right to adjust start times and mileage.
Promoter reserves the right to cancel/combine events and prize lists as necessary.

Minimum field size 20. If under 20 the promoter may combine or adjust prize list and categories.


All events will be "wheels in/wheels out." Please make sure to properly identify your wheels. We will not be responsible or lost or stolen wheels.

REGISTRATION

Pre-registration only. At www.sportsbaseonline.com
No race-day registration.
Deadline: Friday, July 27th by 5 p.m.
Mail in race entries must be postmarked by July 24th, 2007.

Send in signed Standard Athlete Release form with payment.

Check-in and packet pick up will be held at Bike Masters Cycling and Fitness, 129th and FORT St on Friday, July 27th, from 5 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note: Riders may pick up their race packet Saturday morning from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Road Race staging area.
Must sign in before each stage.

All these categories will receive medals for the top three finishers in overall only.

Nebraska ROY points are awarded to Cat. 3/4 riders only
Junior riders should race their category (i.e. Junior Cat. 4 would race Men 4 and be scored separately)

Stage Race Schedule

DOUGLAS COUNTY ROAD RACE

SATURDAY, July 28, 8:00 AM-12 PM
Riders may pick up their race packet the morning of the
RR from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at Road Race Staging area.

STAGE DETAILS

Location: Mount Michael Academy, Elkhorn Neb.
Distance: Neutral 2.5 mile start to 6.7 mile course.
Eight turns per lap, six right turns and two left turns.
One climb, between turns 3 and 4. Return to the start
line for finish.  Feed zone after the climb.
Place race numbers on left side of jersey.

TIME TRIAL STAGE DETAILS

SATURDAY, July 28, 2-4 P.M.
Location: Mount Michael Abbey, Elkhorn, Neb.
Distance: Circuit comprises 9 miles. Rolling terrain. Four left hand 90 degree turns and one right hand 90 turn.
Place numbers on right side of jersey.
First rider off at 2:00 p.m. Riders will go at 30 second intervals.
Start times will be posted on-site after road race results.

Directions To Mount Michael's Abbey Road Race and Time Trial staging area:
From Omaha: Maple street (Hwy 64) west to Elkhorn NE, past Hwy 31, Turn north on 216th st, one mile to Mt Michael Road west.
From Lincoln: I-80 east to Hwy 31 exit north through Gretna and Elkhorn. West on Maple street (Hwy 64). Turn north on 216th st, one mile to Mt Michael Road west.

CRITERIUM STAGE DETAILS

SUNDAY, July 29, 8 A.M.- 4 P.M.
Location: 17th and Howard, Downtown , Omaha, NE
Distance: Triangle shaped course comprises of ½ mile with three left hand turns. Finish at 200 m after a 150 degree turn. Complete course closure.
Feeding is prohibited in all categories unless designated by the chief referee prior to the start of a particular race.
Wheel Pit: Located on Howard St., just after the last turn. Wheels in/wheels out only. All wheels must be identified by name, number.
Free lap rule will apply.

DIRECTIONS TO CRITERIUM
From the west: Take I-80 to I-480 (downtown). Exit at exit 1A (Leavenworth St.) Proceed east to 13th,then north to Howard. Park along streets in Old Market. From the east: Take I-480 to first downtown exit (Dodge Street). Head south to Howard, then west to 17th.
