Omaha - Team Kaos helped children learn how to ride their bicycle safely during the Omaha Police Department's Southeast Precinct Bike Rodeo and Open House Sunday, June 11.
In addition to helping youngsters learn how to use proper hand signals and improve their riding skills, Team Kaos members performed free bike inspections. One of the team's sponsors, UVEX, donated a dozen helmets to give away to children who needed one.
More than 500 children attended the four-hour event at the Southeast Precinct at 25th and Deer Park Blvd. In addition to the bike rodeo, face painting and animals from the Nebraska Humane Society were also part of the event.
