Three Team Kaos/Nebraska Medical Center riders lead their respective Nebraska Rider Of the Year competitions after the Omaha Cycling Weekend.
Matt Landen (Men 1/2) and Mark Brackenbury (Masters 45-plus) have commanding leads and won't have to race the final two races to win their respective titles. Bryan Redemske (Men 4) has a 90-point lead with two races remaining.
John Vondracek is second in Men's 3, 30 points behind Troy Krause of Lincoln Industries-Highgear. Krause has 700 points to Vondracek's 670. Team Kaos' Justin Maresh, the 2007 Cat. 4 rider of the year, has 605 points in third place. Dave Rogers is second in Masters 45-plus while Chris Spence is third in Men's 1/2.
The Nebraska Rider of the Year series rewards points based on finishes in Nebraska races. Category winners earn free entry into next season's series. Team Kaos is the only team leading more than one category. Full standings available here.
